The UCP Velletri Madonna delle Grazie was born as an operational unit integrated into the General Surgery and Pelvic Center service. Subsequently recognized by the SIUCP - Italian Unitary Society of Coloproctology - as a Highly Specialized Center, it took part in numerous Italian and European multicenter studies dedicated to the study and development of new techniques and technologies in the coloproctological field.
The multidisciplinary operational unit deals with functional and organic diseases of the pelvic floor and proctology with maximum attention to colorectal screening, representing a point of reference also for neighboring hospitals
A dedicated outpatient service is available at the UCP Velletri Madonna delle Grazie, where it is possible to perform a proctological examination, anoscopy, endoanal ultrasound for the study of pelvic floor and proctological pathologies.
